The Cayman Government has promised it will not impose any new duties or taxes, in a recently released statement.
It also says it will "strive" to reduce the tax burden on households and businesses through tax and duty reductions, where this can be done prudently.
The promises on taxes and duties are contained in a "2018 Strategic Policy Statement," which sets out the Government's economic forecast and targets for the next three years, as well establishing the foundation for the development of budgets for the 2018 and 2019 financial years.
